In the United States, healthcare is a profitable industry. In other countries, healthcare at all levels of severity are paid without other fees through taxes. </soapbox>
Fees are paid to the neurologist, lab, geneticist, therapists, nurses, and pharmacies. In my case, they are all in the same system.

Old people have Medicare + Medigap or Medicare Advantage. Workers have few and costly options.
